“I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the Water Research Commission for the opportunity to be part of the Water Graduate Employment Program, where I gained valuable skills to prepare me for the workplace. This program had a major impact on both my personal and professional development. I feel more confident about my skills and I have learned to be a diverse and dynamic individual who can tackle any task given. A personal thank you to my phase 1 mentor, Dr. Luxon Nhamo, for the continued guidance and patience, which enabled me to be selected as one of the top 100 WGEP phase 2 graduates. WGEP phase 2 was an even better experience! A huge thank you to Gabriel & Associates (Pty) Ltd for being such an amazing support system through mentoring and coaching. Thank you very much for greatly contributing to my success, as I start this new phase of my career, which I’m very excited about. Gabriel & Associates together with the WRC will forever be a family I treasure always” states Lubias Phaahla
